She-wolf Summer Smith is desperate to make up for a past she can’t deny — and the best way to accomplish that is to take on a deadly mission for her new pack. She’ll sacrifice anything to clear her name and protect the people she loves. With the future of shifters across the Southwest resting in her hands, it’s the worst possible time to fall in love — with a bear, no less.

Burly bear shifter Drew Kovacs hasn’t traveled to the Southwest to look for trouble, and he sure isn’t looking for love. But the second he lays eyes on the she-wolf with a mesmerizing smile and haunted eyes, he knows she’s the one. There’s just one problem — Summer is about to plunge head-first into danger, and he sure as hell won’t let her go alone. But he can’t show up and blow her undercover mission, either. Unless…

Sexy shifters and their feisty mates who aren’t shy about loving each other – so, this is an adult, 18+ reader tale.

I’ve follow the story of these amazing Shifters from the very beginning, and I have to say that Deception was very well played… in more ways than one.

Summer and Drew make the perfect couple to wrap up the lies and bloodshed of the Blue Bloods, the purist hate group that has hounded Shifters who dare to find their mates in a different species.  There are a ton of emotions tied into this story fear, hate, anger, love, pride, purpose.  There are things that will surprise you.  Things that you may not have seen coming.  And that’s the amazing thing about Anna Lowe’s stories, you can never, ever second guess her, not in the end.

I have loved every single story in the Blue Moon Saloon.  I really enjoyed the mixing of Twin Moon Ranch into this story, they all fit so well together.  No intentions of giving anything away – if you’ve followed the series then this is payment for your patience, a reward for following a really good story line.  If you haven’t yet started this series, I would almost beg you to go and start at the beginning, it’s well worth the time and effort to do that.

I don’t know if I’ll be seeing my “book friends” again but I’ve learned to never say never.  It’s been an awesome journey.
