Chadwick, the purple dragon, and leader of his region has his hands full. He has to keep visiting fae princes out of trouble, watch for a potential triad to mate with, and ignore the sassy human expert on fae customs who is bent on ruining everything. Still, Isabella is winning Chad over, with her zest for life and her constant misadventures. From the first kiss, Chad knows he’s in danger. Though not as much as Isabella will be in if Chad’s visions come true.
Isabella is hiding secrets. On the run from a past she’d do anything to forget, she never expected to be charmed by the sweet, soft-spoken, utterly dominant dragon hosting her and the fae. From the first kiss, she can’t seem to resist teasing him, chasing him, and getting him alone any minute possible. Because she knows that what they have can’t last. Not with what is coming for her.
As Chadwick and Isabella give in to the overwhelming chemistry between them, they both fall deeper than they intended. Now Isabella will have to decide if she still plans to run from what’s hunting her, or stand and fight, even if it means endangering the man she loves.
This is an adult, 18+ story, it contains language, possible violence and sexual situations geared to an adult audience.

Title: Dragon in Love
Series: Forgotten Dragons #5
Author: Terry Bolryder
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Shifter Romance
Published: January 9, 2020
My Rating: 4.5 stars
Dragon in Love is, in many ways, one of the most intense and the most frustrating of any story in the Forgotten Dragons series (or from Terry Bolryder). Frustrating because of one character who while I loved her feistiness but goodness could she keep information close to the vest for 90% of her story! And I’m going to let her keep all that information to herself so that you can discover Bella’s and Chad’s story firsthand. Yeah, this one I’m going to talk very little about because there are twists, surprises, and events that you really do need to experience for yourself – I won’t risk spoiling any of it for you. What you really need to know before picking up their story is in the Cover Description.
I definitely got more than a few chuckles and maybe even an eye roll or two from the Fae princes. Since this story seems to be segueing into the next series seamlessly I’m already anticipating discovering more about these characters. Chad is strong, stubborn and watching his realizations of his new reality slowly taking place was an enjoyable journey with a dragon who thought he’d had it all figured out – until he didn’t. Bella is a delight, even when she was frustrating me, and her experiences are scene-stealers for certain. I loved Dragon in Love, I simply feel I can’t say too much about the actual story, but it certainly did give me all the feels, anticipation, and enjoyment I’ve come to expect from this author and this particular series.
If you love a really good Shifter Romance then you’ll want to pick up Bella’s and Chad’s story soon. I’d recommend the entire series, and while there is a connection to some previous series the Forgotten Dragons series takes Ms. Bolryder’s storytelling to another level. And I cannot wait to see what is in store for us with the Fae princes.
