Reese and Jane’s romance in HAVING HER ENEMY’S SECRET SHIFTER BABY is intense in both sensuous, sizzling moments and in the dynamic of pack politics. Plus one truly evil wolf too weak himself to do much with the direct route of challenge – but he does his dirty work in other ways.
This was a quick read for me, it moved along at a steady pace with lots of sizzling moments between Reese and his mate, Jane. Emotionally it hits hard at times and is satisfying at others. It’s actually difficult to say much more without heading into the spoiler zone – pretty much all you need to know to begin this story is in the Cover Description.
I enjoyed my time with this group of shifters. Loved some, loathed others, and felt sympathy where it was needed. I had a good time here and have read the next follow-up short bite story, THE ALPHA SHIFTER’S FAMILY REUNION which follows. If you enjoy Shifter Romance then you’d love both of these stories.
