You cannot help but feel for Molly.  If it weren’t for bad luck that girl would have no luck at all.  It’s not easy being thought of as the town oddball, even though those with that opinion don’t know her at all.  She’s desperate enough to be begging at Cassie’s bar to perform for tips.  But not so desperate that she can’t spread around a little kindness.  And that simple act probably brought her more joy than she ever expected, since it brought Zane into her life.

Zane needed those small acts of kindness probably as much as Molly did but in a different way.  What began as a light flirtation with a mystery woman turned into finding his mate in the most unexpected place.

It’s so easy to see and feel the life lesson in Lone Star Magic – just because you’re different doesn’t mean you’re without value… especially to the right person.

Molly and Zane’s story was an emotional journey.  I enjoyed their story and definitely feel that these two truly deserve each other.  This story was heavy on the human romance and light on the Shifter… but when Zane’s dragon did make an appearance it certainly happened at the right time and made an impression.  Looking forward to the next story in this series.
