To Catch A Werewolf by Keira Blackwood & Eva Knight

Werewolves don’t exist.
But that won’t stop me from claiming the bounty.

Gemma

One last mission, one last score—that’s all it’ll take to pay for my brother’s surgery. If I didn’t need the money, would I take the case anyway? Yup. Nothing compares to the thrill of the hunt.

I don’t do partners, and I’m not sharing the bounty. It’s mine. That doesn’t mean I’ll shy away from a little friendly competition. We can make it even friendlier if that competition is built like a god and wrapped up like a present in a perfectly-fitted suit.

Sebastian

Forget field missions. Leave me to test DNA in my lab, and I’m content. I don’t want to investigate the recent wolf attacks or have anything at all to do with the sleepy town of Wakeforest—until I catch her scent.

She smells like sweet gardenias. It’s a stark contrast to her fiery red curls, not to mention she has curves for days. Before I learn her name, I know without question that this woman is trouble—and she’s my mate.

Title:  To Catch A Werewolf
Series:  The Protectors Quick Bites #4
Author:  Keira Blackwood & Eva Knight
Published:  May 12, 2019
My Rating:  4.5 stars

Oh my goodness, I’m having such a blast with The Protectors Quick Bites series by Keira Blackwood & Eva Knight – and TO CATCH A WEREWOLF is no exception to that rule.  The pairing of Gemma and Sebastian set me to chuckling from the start.  A Paranormal Bounty Hunter who doesn’t believe in the existence of the Paranormal, and a wolf shifter who would much rather be working in his lab with DNA than out in the field searching for a werewolf or a rogue wolf shifter, but when the Tribunal says move it, a smart wolf asks how quickly.  An intriguing pair each out to find the killer for their own unique reasons – except – Gemma is Sebastian’s mate, so now what does he do about this little spitfire of a human who has no clue of wolf shifters or anything paranormal.

TO CATCH A WEREWOLF is full of delightfully unexpected twists and turns, and a couple that is not only sexy but likable with their own agendas.  There were moments of intense tensions, sizzling sexy chemistry and laugh out loud chuckles as well.  I had a good time back in this world once again and would gladly recommend not only this story but the entire series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.  Do you have to read the entire The Protectors Quick Bites series to enjoy this one?  No, not really – but you’ll be missing out on even more sexy, entertaining, addicting stories, in my opinion.  As always, I’m waiting for what Keira Blackwood and Eva Knight have in store next.
