Curvy small-town painter Kesley Enkel loves her meddling family and her close-knit town of secret shifters, but is unlucky in love—until handsome billionaire Jameson walks into her life.

After the mysterious crash of his private plane, Jameson Dandridge III has no memory of his previous life. All the amnesiac bear shifter knows is that someone is trying to kill him. He plans to lie low in a peaceful small town while he figures out who he is and who wants him dead. Then he spots Kelsey. And while Jameson isn’t sure of anything else, his bear is certain that the curvy artist is his mate.

From heart-pounding battles to sizzling encounters under the stars, Jameson and Kesley fall headfirst into passion when they team up to fight Jameson’s enemies. Together they struggle to recover his memory and find out who is trying to kill him before the entire town goes up in flames. Which will win: danger or love?

Whether they have their memory or not Shifters are hot lovin’ creatures who like physical contact with their mates – a lot… so this is a 18+ reader.

Read on for my thoughts about Target:  Billionbear.

I like Target: Billionbear.  A Lot.  Why?  One word – Diversity.  Oh, don’t get me wrong I loved the story, it is intense, funny, charming and quite an emotional merry-go-round at times.  But the diversity of shifters in this tiny out of the way town was perfectly charming.  I believe that we readers who devour Shifter fiction are accustomed to the wolves, bears and cats having the main appeal in Shifter-land.  Yet, Target: Billionbear has some of the cutest, coolest and most unusual Shifters I’ve come across in a long time.  To find them all in one town, living their daily lives until an outsider comes in and stirs things up was such fun for me.  Yeah, reading should be fun, otherwise why spend so much time doing it?

Jameson does not trust anything or any one at the moment.  After a plane crash has him shuffled from one hospital to another at the request of his step-mother – and his brain is fogged down by medicine, Jameson is just going through the motions.  He cannot remember the last few years, let alone the crash.  Yet… there is some inner voice, some instinct that is telling him to ditch the meds, that there is more danger he must prepare for.

Kesley never expected to find her mate – that one man that is truly her other half.  Her luck with men hasn’t been, well too great.  But just watching Jameson from a distance gave her tingles that no other man ever did.  When circumstances seem to work toward pushing them together things start to heat up fast…

…and the danger to Jameson comes to the forefront.  The way the citizens of this tiny town rally around Jameson is simply amazing and funny.

I don’t intend to tell you the whole story here but I am saying… go get this one.  It’s sexy, funny and well worth your time.  I hope we get the chance to re-visit these unique Shifters at some point.
