1. Count your fingers—if there aren’t ten, you aren’t awake.
2. Magical objects can be used against you. Get smart and wield their power first.
3. When all else fails, summon a guardian—make him a shifter, a beast of a man built to protect you, built to satisfy your every desire.
But be careful, because it can get awkward when dreams and reality collide…especially if the dream guardian you’ve just stripped naked turns out to be real.

Title: I Dream of Grizzly
Series: The Protectors Quick Bites #2
Author: Keira Blackwood & Eva Knight
Published: February 10, 2019
My Rating: 4.5 stars
I DREAM OF GRIZZLY returns us once again to the world of The Protectors and The Protectors Quick Bites series – a world that I never tire of coming back to. It’s so easy to get lost in the imaginations and writing skills of Keira Blackwood and Eva Knight, plus I always enjoy revisiting (or at least the mention of) old book friends.
Because it’s a shorter story, although certainly an intense story, I’m not going to say a lot about the plot of I DREAM OF GRIZZLY – except to say that I completely loved every second of my time in this dream-filled world. Deck and Valerie are interesting characters with an attraction even before they met, officially. I loved her spunkiness and his devotion to her protection. There are twists and turns, some you will not see coming, that move this story along quickly but with pure satisfaction. I loved Deck’s new “partner” with all of his annoying quirks, at least to Deck anyway.
If you’re in the mood for a sexy Shifter Romance with interesting characters, a well known larger world, danger, mystery and a vile villain to defeat then you’ll enjoy I DREAM OF GRIZZLY. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend this story or any in either series as well. Now comes the wait for what comes next from the imaginations of Keira Blackwood and Eva Knight – that’s always something to look forward to.
