His inner bear agrees: from the moment Kat walked through the door of the gym where Tyler works, his bear has been roaring to be let out and make Kat his mate. But Kat has suffered through so much already, and Tyler doesn’t want to add to her confusion and heartache. He resigns himself to being just a friend while she heals from the sorrow of a tough year. But as the summer draws to a close, Tyler’s feelings only grow stronger, no matter how much he tries to resist them.

Can Kat stop mourning her lost ex long enough to see the sexy bear of a man standing right in front of her? And will Tyler work up the courage to tell Kat how he really feels before the midnight sun sets on the Alaskan summer?

These sexy bears may live in the Arctic, but put them together with their mates and they are hot n sexy – 18+ readers.

Kat is determined to get in shape and return home to win back her scumbag boyfriend, the one she was supposed to marry – before he’d decided she was too sad and boring and dumped her for a skinny bimbo..  Kat’s father had recently passed away after a long illness which she had nursed him through at home.  She wasn’t happy, she was missing her dad and who bothered with make up when their heart was breaking?  But somehow she believed if she could just get back in shape during this four month vacation to Alaska – then she could win back the heart of the scumbag.  And when she was honest with herself, even she didn’t know why she would want him back after the way he treated her.

When she finally got up the nerve to walk into the gyn where Tyler worked as a personal trainer she almost scurried right back out again.  Who was she fooling?  But one look at Tyler’s beautiful eyes glowing with interest and compassion, Kat took the biggest risk of her life and went for her own happiness.

The minute he saw her Tyler, and his bear, knew who she was.  She might be a stranger right now but she was his mate.  She was sad, kinda wounded by life and he would treat her gently as a friend – but Tyler knew that she was it for him.  Over the summer of the midnight sun they worked together and separately to help Kat get into shape.  A gym wasn’t for her but she loved to run and soon she began to see the results of her efforts.  Tyler had held back, but soon he would have to take the risk and ask Kat to stay in Alaska with him as his lifemate.  Oh, yeah.  They had to talk about his polar bear too.

Bearing The Midnight Sun is Tyler’s story.  His lifemate, Kat, has been beaten down by life and it is his job to bring her back out of the darkness to see the future they could have together.  There is one, rather small Blizzard clan attack, comparatively to the earlier stories.  This one was about one woman who needed the love of one man to believe in herself and become whole once again.

It was charming, touching and there was certainly some hot sheets action – but mostly it is a tender, slow going building of a bond between Tyler and Kat.
