Janie Dell has always wondered about the shifter world. Sheltered by her parents and now out on her own, she seeks out a shifter male in hopes to find out if reality is as good as her fantasy.

Brian Carter has dated human and shifter women. And though many had caught his attention, the infatuation was always short lived and lacking what he really needed.

When Gerri meets Janie she is certain that she has the perfect mate for her. And after a brief introduction between Brian and Janie, the two begin what Gerri believes will be a lasting relationship. But, not all is what it seems. Before long the two will test one another’s boundaries, limits, and desires.

Sexy shifters and their feisty mates who aren’t shy about loving each other – so, this is an adult, 18+ reader tale.

Title:  Catch A Tiger
Series:  Paranormal Dating Agency Kindle Worlds
Author:  Nicole Morgan
Published:  April 9, 2018
My Rating:  3.5 stars

Brian has been a player, using Gerri’s matchmaking service almost like a hook-up service.  He loses interest after the sexual encounter and keeps asking for another match.  Gerri has had enough and cut him off… at least for now.  Janie is a human who has not found a man she can connect with.  Shifters have always fascinated her and her fantasy is to connect with a big cat shifter.  She also turns to Gerri but masks her curiosity in more than an open hook-up experience.  Whether it’s a touch of sweet revenge on Brian, or a true feeling that these two would match perfectly no one knows but Gerri – still, she pairs them and lets the cards or the romance fall where it will.

While I enjoyed the idea of this story there are so many things that simply do not fit for me.  Gerri does not make those kind of mistakes, that’s a proven fact throughout the PDA series.  Yet, she’s been matching Brian with several women?  And none have been his mate?  I just could not fall into this one, and to be frank, never really liked Janie or Brian enough to connect to them.  They each had an agenda, one that I couldn’t buy.  There is no mention of their being mates and we’re left with what I’d call a happy for now ending.  Yes, they have a zing to them but I never felt like these two characters were meant for each other.

There is an audience for Catch A tiger who will be very happy with this story.  And it’s a good story but for me it’s more of a 3.5 which I’ll round up. in my postings.  There is usually a feeling of fate with the Paranormal Dating Agency that I simply didn’t feel here.  That’s a personal opinion.  My suggestion is to try this story for yourself, only you know if you’d enjoy it.
