Until the day a stranger stumbles into their territory, wounded and beaten, and Silver decides to risk everything on Tiberius Leveraux. Title:  The Last Wolf
Series:  The Legend Of All Wolves #1
Author:  Maria Vale
Genre:  Paranormal Romance
Published:  February 6, 2018
Publisher:  Sourcebooks Casablanca
My Rating:  4 stars

Maria Vale adds to the vast werewolf / shifter lore with her The Legend Of All Wolves series.  Each author creates their own world with its unique rules and laws.  There is some serious world building in The Last Wolf, I believe it’s necessary to understand this unique world.  At times this story read as more of an Urban Fantasy than a Paranormal Romance, and while the two genre did blend somewhat I found myself never truly in either genre.

Silver and Ti’s romance took a second stage position to the world building and the Pack’s business for me.  That doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy their story but there was less romance than I, personally, enjoy in a story because of that.  I’ll definitely pick up the next story in the series (in fact, that review is releasing over on my Keeper Bookshelf blog today).  So just because I wasn’t blown away, that doesn’t mean I won’t continue to see where the journey takes me… and you should do the same.  If you haven’t read The Last Wolf yet, and A Wolf Apart intrigues you then go ahead and get lost in a new world for a bit.  You’ll have fun, be entertained and most likely enjoy yourself.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
