His wolf wants her, but his man knows he’s partially responsible for her pain. Will they have a chance at love, or will obstacles beyond their control stand in the way?

Samuel Garcia didn’t expect to find a woman trespassing on Crescent Pack land. He didn’t expect his wolf to have such a strong pull to her, either. As Second of the Crescent Pack, he knows he should make her leave, but there’s a part of him that wants to help her instead.

Arabella Meadows knows something awful happened to her brother. However, the poison slowly consuming her from her pack’s sick alpha has her wolf spinning out of control, making her search for him challenging. That is until she stumbles upon Samuel, a handsome tattooed guy who calms her wolf unlike anything ever has.

As tensions between their packs grow, and the poison flowing through Arabella builds, both know something needs to give before things reach the point of no return for them all.

Title:  Blood of a Wolf
Series:  Crescent Pack #4
Author:  Jennifer Snyder
Published:  November 21, 2022
My Rating:  4.5 stars

Samuel and Arabella’s story will bring the Crescent Pack series to a close – and what an amazing journey it has been.  It’s always a slightly bittersweet moment when a series I’ve enjoyed comes to its conclusion, yet I’ve loved every single story and couple in this series – and Blood of a Wolf just wraps everything up with a satisfying romance, justice served, and two packs saved to move ahead into their futures.  Can’t ask for much more than that from any series.

I liked Arabella.  She might feel broken and angry, and she is, yet she’s also stronger than she knows as she searches for answers that she instinctively knows will only bring her pain.  It takes a strong woman to face the unknown realizing that her life is about to change once again… yet she still takes those first, faltering steps.

I’ve always liked Samuel, and he shines in Blood of a Wolf.  We get to see a different side to this second of the Crescent Pack, there has always been compassion but now there is the determination to stand his own ground for what is his and the knowledge that with his mate at his side he can be an even better help to his pack.  This couple fits, they balance each other in so many ways.

Storylines will reach their natural conclusion, sizzling sexy moments will be discovered, a broken wolf will find her way home, and the members of the two packs will face danger as they finally come out of this situation with the chance of becoming whole once again.  If you haven’t started the Crescent Pack series yet I’d encourage you to get started.  You’ll discover intriguing stories, couples to cheer on to their happy endings, friendship, belonging, and yes, danger as well.  I loved my time in this world and cannot wait to see what Jennifer Snyder brings us next.
